Research

The vision, mission, and objectives of the University demand that the University provide a world-class educational, intellectual and research environment and produce graduates that form a superlative cadre of engineers, technologists and applied scientists capable of making major contributions to the current and future sectors of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE industry and society.

Particular emphasis is placed on research activities in all colleges/institutions of the University, as demonstrated by the explicit inclusion of the word 'research' in the name of the University. As part of the University Research & Development (R&D) Enterprise, several R&D centers are being developed with a range of key partners to ensure that research is an integral and very important part of the University.

The University’s research communities are actively engaged in applied and scientific R&D activities in a variety of disciplines that address and serve Abu Dhabi’s 2030 roadmap plans.
